Brief Synopsis
Over the course of a volatile summer weekend in Philadelphia’s rapidly gentrifying Fishtown neighborhood, a tight-knit group of recent college graduates reunite under the illusion that their futures are finally taking shape. Beneath the surface, however, careers stall, romantic tensions simmer, and long-buried resentments linger.
As parties bleed into after-hours and substance use escalates, social performance gives way to raw insecurity. Class aspiration, sexual tension, and professional jealousy fracture the group’s carefully curated identities, pushing the weekend toward confrontation. By Sunday morning, alliances have shifted, relationships have ruptured, and secrets once suppressed are exposed.
The pilot sets the stage for a season that follows this friend group as they attempt to navigate adulthood in a city reshaped by gentrification, ambition, and moral performance; where belonging comes at a cost, and every attempt at reinvention threatens to destabilize the fragile bonds holding them together.
